ABOUT US: PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

At Canadian North we are constantly looking for opportunities to listen to our customers. Whether it’s “town hall” meetings, in-flight surveys or customer comments, we know it is essential to complete the circle of communication between our customers and Canadian North. Armed with your feedback, we have identified three key areas that you consider significant when choosing an airline; competitive pricing, superior flight operations and customer service.

At Canadian North we have made every effort to ensure we are well positioned to provide competitive fares to every market we serve and we maintain the lowest everyday low fare.

We also know operational excellence is of primary importance to all of us. A well maintained aircraft combined with schedule frequency and reliability are integral components of our operational environment. Superior customer service and customer responsiveness are also major factors in why our customers choose Canadian North.

That’s why we are constantly striving to improve our product while maintaining our top-notch Aurora Class service. This standard class of service includes a hot towel, complimentary meal and beverage service. For our most frequent flyers we have expanded the benefits of our Aurora Concierge program by adding even more perks. We also recently revamped our reservation call centre to include agents with extensive airline experience.

I think it is important that we always communicate frankly with you. This past summer our on-time performance was not optimal. The primary driver of this was the result of integrating different schedule parameters into a very busy summer travel season. The timing of these schedule changes created some delays; especially on the Mackenzie Valley flights.

We have worked hard to optimize our new improved fall schedule to minimize on-time performance issues on a go forward basis. We look forward to exceeding your expectations as we move into the future.
